You have to try this ultra refreshing, sugar- free, home-made ginger ale!

Ginger is amazing for soothing digestion and reducing inflammation. The main area of harboring inflammation in your body is in your gut, so win win for this drink!! Reduce the inflammation, increase the digestive ability.


Ingredients

  • 1 thumb of fresh ginger, pealed and grated

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 cup sparking mineral water

  • 1 tsp date syrup

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced


Add ginger to 1 cup of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 mins. Strain the ginger pieces and leave the liquid to cool. Once cool, add lemon, date syrup, sparking water and serve with ice cubes.
